Funding Ghana Graduates Today is pleased to support the objectives of UGAG

The Unemployed Graduates Association of Ghana (UGAG) was formed in 2011 as a non-partisan organization seeking to promote the well-being of all unemployed graduates and unemployed youth in Ghana.

UGAG’s priority is to:

  • Assist students to be creative and to take up internship opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge of the corporate world;
  • Provide platforms for graduates to take up opportunities or to create their own opportunities; and
  • Engage with university administrators on the need to create direct links between students and potential employers so that their training meets the needs of these employers.

UGAG’s vision is to find solutions to youth unemployment by actively engaging all stakeholders while advocating for the creation of small businesses and increased investment in agriculture and manufacturing.

Funding Ghana Graduates is pleased to support the objectives of TEN GHANA

TEN GHANATEN GHANA is being established to empower young people to become self reliant and self-employed, and to become employers of labour through entrepreneurship.

The other objectives of TEN GHANA are to:

  • Build a global network of entrepreneurs to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and best practices.
  • Bridge the gap between youth-led development initiatives and existing funding opportunities from public and private donors.
  • Turn entrepreneurial vision into reality and to provide training and services to actual and potential entrepreneurs.
  • Raise development stakeholders’ awareness of the role of youth in development.

The program will create partnerships with the local tertiary Institutions to create eco-systems to the benefit of the youth.
